A man in prison has no friends. No one to confide in, anything you say can and will be used against you. These snakes in here just want to provoke you. They want to light your fuse and watch the fireworks. You can’t even talk about the weather without a fight starting. After years without having a normal conversation, you start to feel there is something missing from your life. True human interaction, sharing feelings, emotional support. I don’t know what that is anymore. I’m on this island alone surrounded by sharks, every day. I walk down to the beach and scan the shoreline for a message in a bottle, but every day for years just seaweed, dead fish and garbage. In here, hope is a dangerous thing. But I refuse to give up hope, I believe there is a light out there. A ray of sunshine, that will shine onto the seed caught in the crack of this concrete. And something beautiful will grow. I’m not a cold-hearted criminal, or a heartless felon. I’m a regular guy who made a terrible mistake. So, if your a compassionate heart, who won’t condemn a man’s whole life, for one action, then put a message in a bottle. You can’t imagine the joy it would bring me to find your message, on the desolate beach.
I’m kind and caring, intelligent, creative, down to earth, animal lover. I like to play acoustic guitar, but lately I’ve been singing the blues.
