Finally! Texas is gonna let me ease on out of here the end of this year. (Nov. 17, 2022)
which gives me some time to get to know someone on a different level. I would love to find new friends.
Knowing that I'm walking out of here soon…you'd think I'd be like, “ Hell Yeah”! But to be honest about it, I'm actually nervous. The world has changed so much in the 6+ years I stepped away.
One thing I think about a lot is the onslaught on my senses-all the new smells…pollen, perfume, puppy breath, well-cooked spicy food. Rather than the bad breath, body odor and stinky farts found in here. Or the sounds…laughter, music, birds chirping, dogs barking, oh and intelligent conversations. Rather than-arguing, steel doors slamming, folks yelling and Judge Judy yapping on the TV everyday. I look forward to feeling grass under my bare feet, the sun on my face, the feel of freshly laundered sheets, watching people laughing and just having fun.
In here, things progress at a snail pace. So to walk out of here and step into the fast pace of life out there, has me thinking I'm gonna need to be an Olympic sprinter!? Though I hope not. Because one thing I've learned for sure, Life is “not” a sprint. It’s a journey that needs to be enjoyed.
Yeah- these past few years of my life were put on hold, but I didn't “waste” ’em. I made the best of my time. I learned some new skills, gained some more knowledge and worked on my own personal growth.
I'm excited about life. I like to consider myself genuine. I'm open, honest, a tad blunt, yet totally laid-back. I'm always finding the best in everyone and everything. I'm silly, I love to laugh and I'm always jumping in to lend a hand. Being there for people is important to me.
I know when I get out I'm gonna have to bust my butt and work hard. I'll need to be patient and take things slow. It'd be nice to have someone walk that Journey with me. To share in all life has to offer. To offer encouragement as I/ we navigate the Labyrinth of life.
Just so you know, I have a few miles on me since those pictures were taken.😊
You can contact me through snail mail or email me through jpay.com. Should you email me, Please include a snail mail address as that is thet “only” way I'm able to respond here in Texas.
I look forward to hearing from you.
