This is my first time in prison but I've been in and out of the system my whole life. These last 3 years now have been nothing short of a blessing. I learned more about myself in the last 3 years than I have in my whole life.

I had a lot of hurt and anger I needed to deal with. In truth I'm still ”(A work in progress)”. My crime may seem simple, petty or a turn off but it's a story of growth, forgiveness and blessings. All I can say is this “ your past doesn't define you but you have to honor the past and make your own future”.

So a little about myself. I have 3 children. 2 boys and 1 girl. 7, 8 and 3 yrs old. I'm a hairstylist. I went to Barber and cosmetology school and I'm a carpenter by trade.

I love cooking and I love staying fit just as much so I work out hard so I can eat what I want to. LOL. I love music and art. I do have a lot of tattoos but everything I have holds meaning and everything was drawn by me.

I don't have much time left to do. The truth is I can be released whenever I find a place to go but if not I'll be released in a year and a half.

I don't have family besides my father and grandmother and both live in housing. So I figured if I had to do another year or so why not make a friend or (a friend to grow with) you can keep your money. All I'm looking for is emotional support and someone to talk to or someone to help me contact people so I can find a way out of here. If not then for sure someone to share feelings with.

I have a type as we all do. What I really want is someone funny, smart and loving, you have to be a joker, love music (I like to sing) and overall trustworthy and honest, (“ kill me with the truth, don’t comfort me with a lie”).

I want a friend to grow with and vent to.
