My name is Eddie Keith. I am a 45 year old native of Holden, Massachusetts (Worchester county) currently being warehoused at Shirleytrazz (MCI-Shirley Medium). I am doing a 2nd degree life sentence (15 to life) for 2nd degree murder and armed robbery. I am an auto mechanic by trade and an avid guitarist. I am divorced with three kids and I have three grandkids. I also have the best Mom & Dad in the world who have stuck by me through thick and thin my whole life.
I was adopted at 24 months old, I am Irish and Arawak. My likes are: Rock 'n Roll, Blues, Metal, Punk (I've played in several prison bands), Red Sox Nation & Yankee hater for life, softball, handball, basketball, floor hockey, weights, scrabble, pinochle, dogs a & mopars.
My dislikes are: Anybody who hurts kids and animals, governments and administrations who think they're above the people and the law, and people who belong to rumor mills.
I fell in 1993, I was at Greenfield house of correction for 18 months, then MCI-Concord for 10 months, then MCI-Norfolk for 7 years, the MCI-Cedar Junction or better known as Walpole for 3 years, then Old Colony for 18 months and I've been here at Shirleytrazz since 2006. So. my bid has been broken up a bit which is okay I guess. I don't particularly like the DOC and they don't like me which is the way it's supposed to be. I recently was fired from my educational programming, Culinary Arts because the superintendent realized I was there. I was doing really good there. I was there for 6 months ready to take the serve safe test. Oh well, sh*t happens I guess.
I am also a Native American, but the DOC disrespectfully lists me as "Indian" I try to walk the red road but at times it is extremely difficult to do in here. I question the path every day, but at times I must admit it brings me a little serenity now and then.
