My name is James Utley. I was
born and raised in Santa Maria California. I'm 32 and got convicted of armed
robbery and attempted murder. Currently I have a life sentence but hope to fix
that with the appeal I'm working on. If all goes right I will be out sometime
in 2013. I've been down now almost eight years.Being on a level 4 yard we are on lock down a lot. I pass the time by playing cards, chess, workout, work on drawings or write letters. At present don't have anyone to write outside family. Amazing how people "friends" abandon you once you have life in prison.
The photo posted was taken in '07. I'm 6 foot, black hair, brown eyes with 4 tattoos. Can't see in the photo but I have a 7 inch scar on the left side of my head. I like it cause it adds character.
As for things I like. Outdoors woods or beach. I like pretty much all music, rock, rap, oldies, classical even. Mostly in here I like letters and writing letters. So go ahead and write I'll write back. If I get a letter I will send a letter, Promise.
