Though living in a atmosphere of violence, I find reprieve in reading and writing. I spend time each day, attempting to transform myself from a product of my environment to something inspiring. Compassion, acceptance and integrity are some of the values I strive for each day. I'm 36, and serving a life sentence, faced with the unavoidable truth of my inescapable reality. I immerse myself in learning, writing and working. All my life I've been a protector and a provider so I'm fully self sufficient and am in no way a man child, nor looking for a "sugar momma". I like many genre's of music, movies, and books. I have a myriad if interests that span astronomy to video games to cooking and many more.

I'm hoping to find someone to whom I can have stimulating conversations, about anything. In a place like the one I'm in its hard to find friendship. That's not to say I haven't, of course I've made friends but its a bittersweet good-by when they return to society and I'm left in my enclosure. At times it seems as though the lifer community will be my only allies, aside from my family, and that's a scary thought. Sometimes I'm struck with a deep and profound loneliness but that's the rollercoaster that is death by incarnation. Often I use humour as a tool to express myself in a way that is honest, unique and gritty but still comical. My mother used to always say "if they can't take a joke, fuck em". I'm seeking a confidant to share my thoughts with, one to keep me grounded in reality. To this end, I'm casting this net. As patients and time do more than strength and passion, I'm here, optimistically awaiting your message.
