When I first thought about signing up for penpal services I was fearful, because I figure I would be hard to sell myself to you.

However here goes nothing (smile ). My name is Tarius Washington. I'm 31 years old and I enjoy reading, writing poetry, and drawing. I never even knew I actually had any talent until I came to prison 12 years ago. I guess time reveals all secrets and make us better people.

I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, but I can honestly say I care about others. Prison has given me the time that I needed to find myself. Now I know exactly who I am and most importantly who I want to be.
