I trust and pray that these few words find you in the very best of health, both mentally/physically.

This is the very first time that I participated in being a pen pal. Truthfully speaking, I-vigorously-believe that is a good way for people (as such as myself whom are incarcerated) to network& connect with people of various backgrounds, etc.

As for me, I've been incarcerated for approximately 17 years and am simply seeking to obtain friendship in all walks of life. I am, exceedingly, sociable and am open for platonic relationships. I was married for the majority of my being incarcerated. After a while, people tend to seemingly-fall out of your life through death, frustration from waiting, cheating, etc. Hence, I personally believe that it's better to not make romantic commitments under these unnatural circumstances as a defensive mechanism, in order to protect the woman & myself from any further pain and suffering.

During my free times, my 47-year-old self loves to keep physically conditioned through weights/calisthenics; along with writing and reading. I truly enjoy writing and reading. Both of these things are a serious outlet-for me-, that take me beyond these steel bars, walls & barbed wire fences
