Life can be like a flowing
stream of water; sometimes it must still itself in faith, allowing the power
& wisdom of the current to overtake it, believing the current will
eventually lead into the ocean. I AM THAT STREAM of water flowing down the
river of life. Although I have encountered a few logs that have obstructed my
flow, I believe that those obstacles were placed there to specifically
strengthen my resolve, ultimately leading me towards my destiny...My
Ocean.Incarceration is a lonely, harrowing experience. It has literally eaten away the minds of many leaving them empty shells. their insides have become hardened & calloused. There's no camaraderies, friendship, or loyalty in a place like this. Misery is masked inside fake laughs & phony smiles. There's no love; only twisted, perverted versions of it bound in superficiality, contingent upon quid pro quo. Prison is the antithesis of what love is supposed to be,
what love should be. If love is diluted & based upon materialistic
compensation, then how could anyone build friendship grounded on
disillusionment. One has no other alternative but to detach from such
surroundings & reach beyond the prison walls. Thus, the reason I'm seeking connections through this site. I am attempting to connect with something tangible & real. Human connection is the most important experience on can have in life. In my many years of seeking knowledge & comprehension of life mysteries I've concluded that there are commonalities within every human being. We only get the opportunity to meet a few souls in our life-time, & of the few there's only a small remnant of people with whom we develop intimate relationships with. So it's imperative that we recognize the similarities we share with others & coalesce with them, by all means, in an effort to create stimulating, nourishing energies for the mind & soul. With this creative energy flowing through us & emitting from us it allows us to become better equipped to carry out our life purpose. If you are someone who's not afraid to be guided by life's currents, someone who is able to see past the stigmas & stereotypes assigned by society upon prisoners, I would love to hear from you.
