My name is Gregory Fann Jr.

I am 33 years old born and raised in Newark and Irvington, NJ. I'm a Gemini, if you'd like to know. I love poetry and am currently writing a poetry book. I love to read and exercise, with all this time why not do something productive. Does it matter that I have long hair and tattoos? I also like helping out the younger guys in here, because it is so easy to get into trouble. Plus all some of us need is someone to talk to. I remember how I was when I first came to jail.

I'm currently serving a life sentence for homicide and robbery, but that isn't who I am, it's not even who I was. I was young, hanging with the wrong group of people, and making so many dumb choices. I believed in the streets and all that did was make it easy for people to point their fingers at me. I am a man now and no longer take anything in life for granted.

I'm looking for someone to talk to, and just be there for me and vice a versa. I want a friend, truth is what I want more but a friend is a start. I want someone who'll see me as I am, a person .I'ma inmate 24 hrs. a day, I just want someone to see me as I am for 5 min. I don't know how this whole pen how thing works, but what do I have to lose.
