My name is Matthew Tillesen. I am 35 years old and incarcerated at Polk Correctional Institution in Florida. I have been incarcerated for six years, and my release date is December 2022.

I am a graduate of University of Central Florida, class of 2008. My hobbies include writing, movies, art, history, and learning about foreign countries and cultures. I have been to Greece, Italy, Austria, France, Poland, Turkey, and Ukraine. I consider myself intelligent, and I can talk about nearly any subject. In prison, I work as an education aide, helping other inmates earn their GED.

Prison is a serious place, but I try to keep things lighthearted and make the best of a bad situation. I am looking for a friend: somebody I can talk to and get to know.
