Hello my name is John Burton.
I'm 30 years old. I have a 6 yr. old son. I'm 5' 7", 165 lbs. I have blue eyes
and dirty blonde hair. And I'm currently in reception at Tehachapi State Prison
(CCI) awaiting transfer to Mule Creek State Prison and I'm serving a 25 to life
sentence for a murder I did not commit and I'm hoping I get some justice in my
appeals and be set free and return to my family. I've been incarcerated since
Dec. 1 2005.
Before I was arrested I was a fun loving, easy going guy also known as the life of the party. I wasn't mister perfect or anything. I've had my share of problems, drugs, family & relationships but it seems now a days everyone has something going on in there lives they wish were going better but life is life and you try and make the best of it or so they say.
Right now I'm looking for someone to write to (female of course). I mean I write my family constantly I have there full support but sometimes it's better to meet someone new and that's where you come in. I'm not asking for much. I don't need any money. I'm not going to try to hustle you out of anything, all I'm asking for is friendship cause in a place like this getting letters from someone can make all the difference in someone's life.
