PeaceMy name is Jason Jackson. Yes, I'm coming to you from a strange predicament, having to present myself to you from such a humbling space. Even tho I'm confident that this situation will soon pass, the humility will remain always.
I'm serving a 38 year prison sentence for attempt murder on a cop. Try not to let that scare you. The cop wasn't shot. I'm currently in the appellate process, attempting to prove that the officer life was never in danger and that they got the wrong person. Everything is going well so far. I predict that either I will be released by 2011 or I will spend a substantial amount of time in prison.
At a young age, the influence of the thug culture took over my mind, which basically set the stage for my current reality...
However, I'm not set in my ways, I've gotten older (36) and like many people, my perspectives on life changes. What inspired my growth was information, yes, reading and studying a wide variety of subjects has fed my conscious and mu conscience, to the point where I now have a desire to socialize and build friendships within different circles and cultures, which is the motivating force behind this ad.
As stated earlier, I know that I will walk away from this predicament, and I honestly feel in my heart that the things that I've been through in life and the things that I've become aware of has only prepared and strengthened me for a challenging future. Maybe you were destined to be in my future or I was destined to be in yours, who knows...
