Greetings, peace and blessings to you and yours.
To begin, I'm a student of life constantly seeking knowledge that can be applied to every day living.
I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I'm the oldest of 1 sister and 3 brothers raised by our lovely mother. I've been incarcerated since 1999, never been married, have no children, a blessing and a curse. I believe I'm a great listener that can give good advice. Though I'm confined, I love the outdoors, sports, exercising, music and have a personal interest in the piano and guitar. I enjoy studying law and like to help others in here when they need it.
Prison does not define me and I'm determined that this is not my end. I've educated myself and learned to find ways to be more productive and I now look forward to taking some college courses being offered. I volunteer in the hospice program here.
I'm still fighting extremely hard to get my conviction overturned and I believe I'm close to accomplishing this goal. Having lived a hard knock life, learning through trial, error and experience, I believe it's now my responsibility and part of my objective in life is to stay involved in programs that beneficially constructive with assisting at risk and troubled youths and find ways to be resourceful and contribute to society in general.
Prison has always been a lonely place and as I continue to develop, mature and get understanding, I'm forced to cut ties with those who choose living contrary to that productivity, which makes it even more lonesome. Expression and communicating through writing can be great inspiration and motivation and I'm looking to share my thoughts, ideals and bring a special moment in living every day (: smile to someone.
Take good care and enjoy life.
