I'm lost right now, but you can find me
I'm all alone, sometimes it's frightening
I need someone who's truly behind me
At times like this, I need a friend
Who's by my side until the end
No matter what, or where, or when
Someone that's real who won't pretend
I wrote this poem for those who search
For someone, somewhere on this earth
Someone who understands their hurt
Their pain, their grief, their life, their worth
Right now I feel like no one cares
I'm reaching out, but no one's there
Been in the dark so long, I'm scared
At times my pain's too much to bear
When no one seems to care or call
And it's like your back's against the wall
And life's too hard to bear it all
