Thank you for reading my ad. I hope you decide to write and that we can become friends...I think being honest is important, so I'll start with the reason that I'm in prison: Two guys came to my house one night, high, drunk, and with bad intentions. I ended up shooting at them and one of them died. I don't think it was murder, but the D.A. thinks otherwise. I do deserve to be here though. After all, a man lost his life over my mistake. That's why I pled guilty for this eighteen year sentence that I'm doing. I am looking for pen pals with characteristics sort of similar to mine, mostly free thinking, open minded, like to say/write what's on your mind and in your heart. Looks are not important, and age doesn't matter that much. I have a very wide variety of interests. So I'm confident that, no matter who you are, there will be more than a few subjects/interests we can find common ground on. I had a pen pal who seemed to live in a fantasy world. Which was disappointing. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy fantasy and dreaming. It's part of having a normal brain. But when one has trouble distinguishing fantasy from reality, it can become a problem. I'm not looking for pen pals to escape reality with. I want a friend/friends I can face it with. I believe all experiences (good or bad) whether personal or those shared with us by others, are very important. Maybe, by sharing our experiences, along with our ideas and criticisms, we can make life a little easier and hopefully help each other in trying to become better individuals. We all have faults. I know I do. Some say that I'm too outspoken at times, and I do tend to get a little passionate when it comes to writing or talking about the things I believe in. Well, not everything I believe in turns out to be true or right. So I'm not perfect, and I certainly can't say I'm an angel, but I do have a good heart and I am loyal to my friends. So, if my mugshot (sorry, it's the only photo I have) and what I've said hasn't scared you too much, and you're interested in knowing more about me, my life's an open book waiting to be read. Pick up a pen or get on that keyboard and put your questions and thoughts on paper. A photo isn't really necessary but I wouldn't mind knowing who's writing to me.
