Pals,My name is Troy Jerome Reed, better known os "TJ" I am 46 years old, six two, 240 pounds, brown eyes and chocolate all over. Unfortunately, I have been confined in the Texas Prison System for nearly 7 years and I have about 3 years left, unless I make parole first and that's all in the hands of God. My next parole date is 2010, (March), which means that I will be interviewed 3 months prior, around Dec. 2009. My purpose for joining the Prison Pen Pal service is to hopefully meet some people with some positive insight on life and who are willing to explore mentally and spiritually as well as build a beautiful friendship. I am just trying to apply myself to new areas of life because as you can see from my present situation, that I haven't been making the right choices in my life. My past is not pretty nor is it very ugly but I can honestly say that it is apart of my life that I have accepted as a set of circumstances and situations that I don't have the power to go back in time and change. It is by my faith in God that I am able to accept my past mistakes and move on to something better in life and I am very grateful for his love and mercy.
