An introduction can be a little nerve-racking at least for me because it comes with conducting a self evaluation.

Now lying to someone else, it happens and sometimes more often than not. But lying to yourself is a whole different game and one that I refuse to play . I am who I am . And with that being said my name is Aquail Harris. I was born on 2/27/86 in Las Vegas, Nevada to a beautiful woman who just recently passed away. Her passing was a tragic blow to me both emotionally and spiritually.

Now I have my reasons why I reached out to a pen pal service. One in particular is to find a genuine connection with someone that has no strings attached nor any felt obligations.

I have been incarcerated since 2/9/17. So you can possibly imagine how many lies, half-truths, and broken promises I've received over the years, many coming from family and so-called friends. Doing time comes with finding yourself more dependent on them than they truly realize. Their little procastinations with the best intentions become lies in the long run. And being let down time and time again is what hurts the most behind these walls. Now don't get me wrong. I understand things happen. But when actions become habitual, what is a person to think other than what those actions show? Therefore, I'm looking for care, concern, and compassion in an individual, someone willing to be there mentally, spiritually, and financially who understands accountability, dependability, and responsibility.

As a man, I have my baggage that I carry with me. But I am also someone who knows his strengths, truths, and flaws and is man enough to own up to each and every one of them.
