I was
once told that the only constant in life is change. Many things in my life has
changed since my incarceration in 2001. To sum it up, I was pretty much let
down by everyone I ever thought of as a friend. With that being said, I've been
very cautious about making new friends. However, I'm not stuck behind these
walls for the rest of my life and I refuse to build walls for the rest of my
life and I refuse to build imaginary walls that might keep me from making new
friends.My release date is getting close and I would like to start corresponding with the outside world again. I know there are a lot of strong independent women out there making it with the cards stacked against them. I'm looking for some positive encouragement to help me with my transition back into the free world. I know what it feels like to be let down, and it is not my intention to let anyone down.
