I was juvenile sentenced as an adult at the age of 15 via a plea deal I took due to my family convincing me it would get me out of a life sentence. It wasn't until years later that I found out that I was never facing life and my attorney lied to both me and my family (which he only had 2 conversations with) to get me to agree to a plea. I never got to view my discovery and when I reached out to my attorney he filed a motion to remove himself and I was told I didn't file a withdraw of plea within the timeframe 4 years later.

Legal issue as to I was a juvenile sentenced as an adult I was still placed at a juvenile facility (Green Hill School) which I received public records that for the time I was at GHS there was no law library, legal system and or anything that would inform me of my rights that is given to adults. There are multiple juveniles that have the same issue as me that were sentenced as adults but were placed at juvenile facilities with no access to the rights are given to adults despite us serving adult sentences.

In my specific case, I am innocent and have evidence to support it but I'm being denied my access to the courts for missing a deadline before I even turned 18. I am seeking help for not only me but all other juveniles that have suffered the same injustice of law.

On 8/2/21, I was sent a letter telling me that my case was remanded back to court. After 6 months and not going back to court or hearing anything from them I reached out and still got no response. To this current date I've still heard nothing.
