My name is James. I'm serving 28 years and I would like to meet someone to build a friendship with that could grow into something more.

I'm a Christian man, I have made a lot of mistakes and poor choices in my life. I spend every day trying to better understand myself and why I did the things I have done so I can be a better person.

I have changed since I have been in prison. I am not the same man I was when I committed my crime. I would like to meet someone that will judge me based on who I am and not what I've done. I suffered a lot of trauma in my childhood that I now understand affected the kind of man I became. I used alcohol to escape the pain of my childhood and in doing so I caused a lot of pain for others but God has relieved me of that and I am now focused on being a good man and having a positive impact on the people in my life. It's easier to raise healthy children than to fix broken men but with God all things are possible.
