Hello,
I really don't know how to start this off, but here goes.
My name is Ali Khanfer. I'm from Dearborn, MI and I'm 6' 205 lbs. I'm very interested in...everything. I'm 28 yrs. old and I have a thirst for knowledge. I'll try anything once and I want to learn anything that you can teach me. It is said that Solomon was the wisest man to ever live, well that's fine, I want to be the second wisest.
Before coming to prison I had a chance to do a lot of traveling. Seeing different cities and counties gives me a greater appreciation for the beauty in the world. And shows just how small we really are. No matter what I do in the future, travel will always be a big part of my life. When I was younger I was a star football player in high school and college. Physical fitness has always been a big part of my life and I take great pride in keeping myself in tip top shape. College allowed me to expand my mind and opened a lot of doors for me. I've always been very ambitious and education has allowed my possibilities to really be endless. To this day I'm an avid reader which still allows me to go places with my mind.
I come from a conservative family and as I get older I find myself becoming more spiritual and appreciating my upbringing more and more. Coming to prison has allowed me to come in contact with people who practice all sorts of different religions and as I've studied them I've started to see the universal truths that all religions contain.
As of right now I'm about a year from getting out and I'd like to reach out and feel more connected with the world outside the fence. Sometimes things get stressful and it would be nice to know I've got someone there to listen.
