My name is Patricia Clarke. I
am presently incarcerated at FMC Carswell. I am a first time non violent
participant, who was sentence to life in prison for conspiracy under the
Pinkerton theory, it means what one does in the conspiracy all are guilty. I
was offered immunity, but I refused. Couple of months later, I was indicted and
offer a plead agreement of 10 years. As you can see, I am not a threat to
society. I have been incarcerated for over 16 years. I was young and naive at
the time. And I truly believed everyone deserves a second chance in life that
chance wasn't given to me. For the past 16 years, I have worked to better
myself and it serves no purpose for me to be locked up any longer. I have
learned my lesson. I have grown into a positive mature woman of God, one who
has integrity and loyalty.I have a pending clemency petition at the Pardon Attorney office in Washington D.C. I am looking for anyone who has mobility, flexibility free time and access to information that I don't have. Basically, what I am asking for is an outside advocate, advocating for my commutation. I need support in getting letters, emails, and phone calls to the pardon attorney office and President Bush before he leaves office in Dec. 2008. I am praying that God touches many hearts toward me.
