First, let me just say that this is not my first time trying to connect with someone via pen pal. I was once skeptical and didn't have my hopes too high in finding anything more serious than a platonic friendship - but I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Although things didn't work out like I would have liked, I have no regrets; and I'm glad I took that chance to open up and really let someone in. Now knowing that the right woman for me could just be a simple letter away has me in a far more optimistic and positive place than when I first tried this a few years back. a quality friendship and eventually relationship is well within reach as long as we can be up front and keep it real.
