Hey, my name's Michael. I'm 6 feet 4 inches tall, have blue/grey eyes and weigh around 220
pounds. I'm a non-smoker, occasional social drinker (not so much
anymore :-), and have never done any drugs. I'm pretty health conscious and
like to workout.To be honest I'm not sure what I'm looking for or expecting to find in placing this ad. I only know that in my heart I feel the need to find someone to open up to and share a part of myself with. And as much as I would like to say that I'm open to finding deep love and a meaningful romantic connection, I realize the reality of my situation is that I don't really have the ability to be more than a friend to anybody from in here. So just anything real and honest is okay by me. Prison has this ironic way of allowing you to be surrounded by so many other people and yet feel so lonely and disconnected, and I guess I just miss having a woman's touch in my life and feeling like I really know someone else's heart in a real way.
If I had to put myself into words... well... I'm very easygoing and quite playful (a bit sarcastic and a definate "smart ass", but I suppose that's better than the alternative). However, while playful in nature, I like to think of myself as a very straight up person - so I'm not one to play games. Besides... I'm a big believer that the two most critically important character qualities a person can possess are honesty and loyalty. I'm a bit of a dreamer and a romantic at heart. I'm someone who believes in happy endings and in such things as fate and true love (maybe I'm naïve). But I also believe that true love has to be rooted in friendship. I tend to be very adventurous and I'm all about trying new things (although there have been times in my life where this quality has gotten me into some trouble :-). But when all is said and done I believe our memories/experiences are what really matter most. So for me... I see life not in the number of breaths I get to take, but rather in those moments that take my breath away.
Let's see... what else... favorite color - bright yellow (because for some reason it makes me happy). Favorite movie - "Serendipity" (I just love the premise of the film). But in general I like romantic comedies and horror flicks (as both are scary in their own ways). Current favorite song - "Away from the Sun" by 3 Doors Down (because I can relate). But in general I like country and popular rock.
When not in prison I like to spend my time outdoors. My favorite season is Autumn when the leaves begin to change. I love forests, lakes, and rivers. I love playing in the rain and staring up at the stars. I just like feeling connected with the world around me.
