Thank you for showing an interest in my ad.

Tragically, I drank and drove on New Year's Eve 2003 and killed two people in a fatal collision. However, I'm proud to say I have used this time to honor their lives and bring purpose to mine by earning my counseling certification as well as a Masters degree in psychology. I'm blessed to have been able to help many in here in their recovery and I'm eager to do the same when I'm out there.

Aside from those things, I've also discovered a passion for writing and have published my memoir Palpable Irony, and a series of prison related blogs I wrote entitled My Prison Life.

I've literally grown up in here and have discovered some important truths about life. Among them are life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it, and life is more about who you are than where you are. These Motto's have gotten me through this journey and I have no doubt will guide me out there.

I'm kind, sincere, honest, compassionate, trustworthy, genuine, and very non-judgmental. I like to laugh and make people laugh-who doesn't?! :)

I'm hoping to meet people who are open-minded and not afraid to be themselves. I enjoy good conversation with genuine people. Life is too short to limit ourselves in the people we meet and the bonds we build. If you feel the same way I hope to hear from you soon.
