Hello! thank you for showing
an interest in my personal ad. Unfortunately it was a tragic car accident that
landed me here in prison, however, I hope to shed some light on this experience
by meeting positive people who I can form meaningful friendships with. I'm a
firm believer in "there's always some good you can take from a bad
situation."Prior to coming to prison I was working full time as a warehouseman while attending college in the evening to pursue a career in nursing. Prison hasn't
taken away my goals and dreams, only delayed them. I make the most
of my time by continuing my education through correspondence courses, tutoring,
reading, working out, and playing sports. Staying busy and productive has
helped me to stay optimistic about my future while also avoiding prison
drama.I'm born and raised in Portland, Oregon and have lived here all my life, but I've traveled to several other states. I have close family ties with my two older sisters and my twin brother.
I'm kind, sincere, genuine, honest, strong, trustworthy, compassionate, intellectual and can be classified as an all around "down to earth" guy with an outgoing personality.
I'm interested in meeting people who are positive and enjoy writing and sharing ideas, thoughts, etc. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about them because I believe it enriches one's life when connecting with others. I believe life is too short to limit yourself in the people you meet, bonds you build, and friendships you form. Being incarcerated has given me a new found appreciation for all the "small" things in life which I now value more than any possession I've ever owned. Meeting genuine people is definitely one of those priceless things. That being said, I hope to hear from you soon!
