I'm just looking for a friend or someone that can help me get my life back on track

I've already started working on my GED and taking various programs but there are other ways and things I can learn. I would like to advocate for battered and abused women if someone is willing to help.
I've been in prison since 02-14-04. I was 18 at the time and since then, I've made my peace with God, and in doing so, I've realized all the pain and suffering I've caused and wish like hell I could take it back but I can't. I am deeply apologetic to those I've hurt. I'm not asking anyone to just up and trust me but give me a chance to prove myself, for once in my life I want to do some good and if I just so happen to meet someone along the way then that's a blessing but for the most part I just want to help. So instead of trying to judge and criticize me, help me, help others.
