Hope and change can only come
about with a measure of courage that outweighs fear and doubt. Do we share a
core set of values that include moral integrity and a steadfast belief that it
is time to take on the manifest, draconian injustice of mandatory sentencing? I
am a first time, non violent sex offender who, blindly followed the advice and
assistance of my trial attorney to flee the jurisdiction before trial. Plea
negotiations? None. I am now in the 14th year of a sentence that expires
in 2142. To understand the unique nature of my case, please contact me. I'm not
looking for form letters, religious tract or sympathy. The empathy goes to the
14 year old victim. What I am seeking is equitability and accountability. If
you're the advocate to move the injustice of this sentence to the public forum,
then I am your poster boy for bad law. Together, we can educate our
elected officials while, at the same time, protect society. Those who know me
well would tell you: I'm honest and I never give up.Joel Kenney # 112664 ASPC Tucson Winchester Unit P O Box 24407 Tucson, AZ 85734-4407 USA |
