I am an African American male currently incarcerated at Wallens Ridge State Prison, Virginia.

I am hoping that by joining this pen pal site that I will be able to find someone who doesn't think a person is as bad as the worst thing they have done. Hopefully one of the lovely ladies that view my profile will be interested in a man with strong convictions and principles, and have made a few mistakes in life, but still have a zest for what makes life worth living.

I have been incarcerated for 26 years and in that time I have been fortunate enough to stay abreast of the ever-changing technology, I have a degree in computer tech and software, also electrical.

I was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but I've lived in Virginia my entire life and haven't traveled much. I was raised in the small town of Emporia, Virginia until I was about 13 years old, my family is now located in Richmond, Virginia.

I enjoy watching action movies that get my adrenaline going, my favorite music is contemporary R&B, some hip-hop and pop, I also love reading fantasy and science fiction novels. I am an avid animal lover, but cats are my favorite because you never know what they may do next.

I am also quite adept at repairing electronic devices and small electrical appliances, this is a deeply fulfilling hobby of mine.

I am very interested in meeting a strong compassionate woman with a good heart, who is seeking someone to be great friends with and hopefully more. I haven't had anyone special in my life since I've been incarcerated but now I feel like I'm ready for someone to share my life with.
