Greetings Pen Pals!

My name is John Nowell. I am a 43-year-old widower. I go by a different name which is J-Roc because I have a spiritual meaning for it. I'm from Fayetteville, NC. I'm "A PROUD FATHER" and" GRATEFUL GRANDFATHER". I love traveling!

I have been incarcerated since 2016. I'm a poetry writer which includes me having CREATIVE WRITING ABILITY as an author. I self published a poetry book on Amazon in 2018 called "Rich with a Poor Mind Set", however, I found out that it's no longer available unless I republish. The type of poetry I write is meant to go inside the adult fantasy imagination, motivational encouragement, and emotions a man deals with. I can actually do any type of poem whether it's for adults or children.

I'm seeking honest friendships that can "enhance my mind"because I don't want to waste anyone else's time. I do my best to remain truthful as possible so some people think of me as honest John. LOL! I can't say that I'm a "Saint" although I still practice the respectful ways I was taught as a child. I choose to have a positive outlook on life and try to "motivate " anyone who'll listen. I read the Bible and the Qur'an for my spirit to be fed.

Hopefully I can share some "INTRIGUING POETRY" and MOTIVATION WORDS with whom ever has an interest. Honestly speaking, I like to think of myself as a "Motivational Speaker". My belief is: "There's no long lasting success without commitment". Although I encountered some difficulties that got me incarcerated I've always tried to be "A MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER" and "An "UPLIFTING ENGOURAGER" to others when they face the trials and tribulations of life.
